It's time for the OSM Volleyball Championships!

The Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) and the Tampere University of Technology Volleyball Club (TTLK) are organizing the Finnish Student Volleyball Championships at Tamppi Arena on the Hervanta campus of the University of Tampere and at Atalpa on the city center campus on March 28-29, 2026.

The men's and women's competition series will be played on Saturday, March 28, at Tamppi Arena and Atalpa. The recreational series will be played on Sunday, March 29, at Tamppi Arena. Registration is open until February 28.

There are a limited number of places available in the series. Therefore, sign up soon.

The games will be played according to the official rules of volleyball. Each game will consist of two sets, except for the finals, which will be played in a best-of-three format.

The teams that win the competition series at the OSM Championships can represent Finland at the European Student Championships.

PARTICIPATION FEES

The participation fee for each series is €100 per team during December. In January, the participation fee is €120 per team. In February, the participation fee is €140 per team. Prices include €10 OLL processing fees.

All university students, exchange students, and graduate students are eligible to participate. All graduates from the 2025-26 academic year are eligible to participate.

At least 75% of the team participating in the OSM competition must be OLL members, otherwise the team's participation fee will be increased by 50%. The student unions of the following universities are not members of OLL:

XAMK, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Centria, Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Novia YHS, Svenska Handelshögskolan, Police University of Applied Sciences, University of the Arts, Åbo Akademi, University of Eastern Finland, University of Turku, and University of Oulu.

If the person paying the participation fee is different from the contact person, or if the payment is made from a club account, for example, this must be notified by email to: markku.rantahalvari@oll.fi.

If a team has to cancel its participation in the competition, a €30 processing fee will be charged for the registration. If a team has to cancel its participation for health or personal reasons, it may be exempted from paying the processing fee.

MEALS

Lunch may be available on campus on Saturday, March 28, from 12:00 to 15:00. The Duo shopping center is within walking distance of Tamppi Arena. The Koskikeskus shopping center is located in the city center near Atalpa.
